Sarah & Adam Brewer-Cook - South Causey Inn, Stanley - 1st August 2019

Apologies for the lack of posts on my blog page in recent months (erm...years). I am hoping to keep on top of this page going forward starting with a few images from Sarah and Adam's wedding at the South Causey Inn, Stanley. (https://www.southcausey.co.uk/). The South Causey Inn is one of my favourite venues and has two suites to tie the knot in, The Old Barn and The Durham Suite. Adam and Sarah chose the Durham Suite. As well as the indoor space, the South Causey Inn has many opportunities outdoors, with gardens close by and a lake a short drive away which the hotel provide a car for. It is always nice to use the lake if time allows, it gives couples a chance to take a few minutes to let their day sink in and have some time to themselves before getting back to the party! Adam and Sarah appeared to have a brilliant day and wish them all the very best for the future! 

Katie & Nick Owens - Angelview Hotel, Gateshead - 29th April 2017

Such a lovely couple and their little boy, George, is such a cutie! Married at the Angelview Hotel, it would have been rude not to include some photos at the Angel of the North!

 

  

Charlotte & Daniel Cunnah - Coquetvale Hotel, Rothbury - 15th April 2017

I always love returning to a venue, especially when I have been specifically asked to photograph a wedding because of the images the couple had seen of a previous wedding I shot here! Charlotte and Daniel are such a relaxed and laid back couple, which came across throughout the day. The hotel itself is stunning and in the beautiful setting of a Northumberland village. 

Sarah & Ian Smart - 28th October 2016 - Wallsend Hall

Sarah and Ian picked the stunning venue of Wallsend Hall for their autumn wedding. Wallsend Hall has stunning grounds as well as some fantastic features within the Hall itself. The autumn colours and themes really lends itself to this venue!

Jeanette & Paul - 13th August 2016

Another fab couple to work with, Jeanette and Paul's wedding was such a laid back day with so many friendly faces. Although Jeanette and Paul were the bride and groom, Jeanette's grandaughter Layla was certainly one of the stars of the show!

Frances & Wayne - 6th August 2016

Married in a stunning church in North Sunderland followed by a reception in Beadnell, we even managed to get down to the beach for some photos (as well as a free ice cream!). 

Lou & Anthony - 21st July 2016

What a day! Lamborghini's and swimming pools before even getting to the venue. Lou and Anthony were a fab couple to work with, full of ideas and imagination. The whole day was fantastic from start to finish and everyone was so friendly! One of my favourite ever photos was taken at this wedding, the moment when the groom sees his bride for the first time on their wedding day. 

Shanine & Fash - 9th July 2016

Such a fun filled day with Shanine & Fash at their wedding in Newton Aycliffe. They have such a wonderful family and a baby daughter who was born two days before my son Isaac in April. Already looking forward to a portrait session with the family and photographing their 1st year anniversary in July 2017!

Melanie & Tom - 25th June 2016

Morpeth Town FC

Ahead of the 2016/17 season, I made a big money (I wish!) transfer from Bedlington Terriers to FA Vase winners Morpeth Town FC to become their official photographer for the 2016/17 season. Having photographed their game against Hereford at Wembley, I travelled to the Scottish Borders to photograph them against Hawick Royal Albert (won 5-1) and Gala Fairydean Rovers (won 3-2). Susie & Richard – 4^th June 2016

Susie and Richard were the first couple I photographed following my self imposed break from photography for the birth of my son, Isaac. I first met with Susie and Richard back in October 2015 and from day one they were such a relaxed and composed couple. They had chosen their venue, Coquetvale Hotel in the stunning town of Rothbury, Northumberland and were looking for a photographer to cover their big day and booked myself.

In the week leading up to the day, I was getting worried that the weather forecast was not fantastic and that they were not going to be able to take advantage of some of the stunning scenery the hotel and Rothbury had to offer. But driving to the wedding, the skies got brighter and brighter and it turned out perfect! Here are a few of my favourites…
