About Me

Hello, my name is Chris and I am the founder of CJC Photo. Photography has long been a passion of mine and I am lucky that I am now able to turn my passion into a business.

I started my business back in 2012 taking and selling landscape pictures before moving into wedding photography and portraiture in 2014.

I love photographing weddings. People often ask if I am phased by the prospect of photographing weddings and although it can be daunting, I love the challenge. To see a complete set of wedding photos and clients’ faces when they see them is priceless.

Recently married myself, I photograph weddings in the style I wanted my wedding photographed; discreet, relaxed, laid back and casual whilst telling a story of the day.

Fully insured, I shoot my weddings with Canon 5D Mark III and IV cameras with an additional Canon 5D Mark III and Canon 5D Mark II as a backup cameras. Along with these cameras, I have a selection of Canon ‘L’ Series lenses and various lighting setups for all situations.

I am also a freelance sports photographer, covering mainly football in the North East for local newspapers and also offical club photographer of North Shields FC.

Outside of photography, I have two (crazy) border terriers (Archie & Stella) who are both characters in their own rights! I have been married for 5 years and have a four year old son, Isaac and a daughter, Caitlin, who was born during lockdown 1.0!
